TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
