TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
